the ushankas will be getting a restock this friday, (26/09), will be at 8PM BST or so.

i mentioned this on my instagram… there's no point in holding them back from you guys when theyre sitting inside my home, i want to move more freely with the brand so this is the first step towards that (amongst steps ive already taken offline)

I have some really cool stuff being sampled right now. it takes time because usually its not perfect the first time around, and im okay with that, good things take time

But ive felt very dissatisfied because i thought everything has to be extremely polished, that every drop has to be perfectly planned and have a specific schedule

I love to be spontaneous, all the spontaneous things in my life have always led to good things, so i want to carry that over to my work, mind you, everything i make is ALWAYS ALWAYS inspired by what i consume, thats a mix of reading the manga i read, watching the shows i watch, and buying the clothes i buy. I could go on for ages

I'm always thinking about what i can do next, but the way i think narrows down what i think i can or should make, putting myself in a box where i think i must do things like this, but that takes away fun i can have. Everything around me influences me, manga influences me, and i can make a piece of clothing without explaining what manga i got inspired from, sometimes it'll be obvious and some other times it wont be, but i dont want to box myself in and explain, I will still recreate looks, but i will also make looks that compliment the source material, breathe new life onto it

Moving ahead ill be dropping more 1 of 1s i sew myself, just for fun. I'll still have items that are in production, but i just want to move more loosely with what i do. Moving ahead i wont explain where i got inspired from, because i dont want you to like my clothes because of a name, i want you to like my clothes because of the way they look.
